When testing NordVPN and determining its score in the Cybernews ranking, I rated each aspect of this VPN out of 10, with 10 being the highest score. Overall, NordVPN excels in privacy and security, speed and performance, and value for money categories while still ranking quite high in the server network, features, compatibility, and customer support. As I delve deeper into each of these categories further in the article, here is a summary of NordVPN’s scores:
- Privacy and security – 10/10. Threat Protection, an audited no-logs policy, and jurisdiction outside any of the Eyes Alliance countries ensure secure and completely private use.
- Value for money – 10/10. While NordVPN is not the cheapest VPN, it is packed with useful security features, essentially making it an antivirus, ad-blocker, and VPN in one.
- Speed and performance – 10/10. Just like in the past, during the recent test, NordVPN showed exceptional speed and performance results, making it one of the fastest VPNs we have tested.
- Server network – 9/10. While NordVPN does not have the largest server fleet our team has ever encountered, it still operates in every region of the world.
